George has now Been Missing for 7 Complete Weeks : (Chapter 43)

It was 7 am and it was starting to get light, so off I went with my pallet posters, I just had no get up and go in me, I was tired and if I am honest I was really doubting this lady that said she said a man put George in a van. George was a runner and scared of every human; I let him off the lead once, I never did it again at all. Also, how the lady’s friend who had taken the photo of George said that she had seen George playing with her dog. I can believe trying to shag her dog yes but playing, no. I also understand that just like children dogs can make us look like total liars.

My Kerry always use to say how her Billy was such a good boy, then one time this was when I was living in the UK, he sneaked off under the fence next door and then all I could hear was “mum, mum quick Billy is next door running in their garden with something in his mouth.”

Something in his mouth was a huge joint of pork, beautifully cooked, and still with the string on it, oh my God, so he had gone into their house and obviously taken it from the kitchen table.

A decent person would have quite obviously gone next door, not holding the actual joint of pork or swinging it backwards and forwards, yet to explain the situation. Kerry and I are obviously not decent people.

As I opened the back door to my car the motorized back window suddenly dropped, it was now stuck and no matter how hard I pressed the button or how many times I pressed the button, it wasn’t budging. I mean why, I say why do the car manufacturers still install these motorized back windows, that is a common trait with the freelander to drop. I mean who needs a car where the back windscreen opens.

Great is all I could think, as now when I go to the market anyone can just jump into the back of my car, looking at the state of my car I actually saw this as very unlikely yet I then started to think: great rats, mice, birds, snakes anything now can get in my car. So, I immediately rang Gary. “Help”

It wasn’t long before Gary arrived and I could see by his face that he felt all cuddly and warm inside when he realized that he needed to take off the complete back panel of the car.

Car all fixed and a big cuddle from Gary and off I went back to the market with my posters.

I could see the market man looking at me, you see posters really aren’t liked here as so many people take them and then just discard them and simply throw them on the floor. Thankfully Ian is such a wonderful man as is his son and I have since been told that they did actually have to pick many of them up after each market. Saying that he is wonderful as he should have cleaned them all and straightened them all out and given them back to me tee hee. I always decline a leaflet if it doesn’t interest me, I didn’t realise that some people actually don´t.

Thank goodness that before I left the market, I remembered that all I had at home was pasta and I went to a little stall at the market where a lady cooks funny little sausage rolls with cheese in. I say funny as it´s basically a frankfurter with a lump of cheese yet wrapped in her own home-made pastry, rather yummy she also does a spinach one. So off I went home with my bag of funny pastry wraps.

As I sat with the dogs eating my funny pastry things, all I could think was: I so wish I had some pickles and a bag of crisps to go with this, and then I went and wrote another Facebook post:

JUST A THOUGHT

Today it has been 7 whole weeks that George has been missing, and for me, it still feels like yesterday. Throughout my days of searching, stopping cars and knocking on doors, my heart still breaks for the worry of my George. Without his little body, the not knowing is indescribable.

I now can´t help but worry that if someone has George and because of all the posters that I have put up and how many people are now aware that my George is my baby, please just give me a call 674800000. Gosh there wouldn´t be one bad feeling only complete joy. For me to post the word found would be the most amazing thing in the world. The reward of 1.000 euro is completely confidential and totally 100% discretion will be given. All that matters is that George is able to come home.

Please keep looking for George as another thought that keeps going around in my mind is that the person who took George 7 weeks ago has actually lost George as I know that my George will be doing everything that he possibly can to get home.

Please if you see George please take a photo and call me. I so appreciate everyone's help and support, I also know how many people would love to find him for me, which I can’t put into words how special that makes me feel.
